About

The European Psychoneuroimmunology Network (EPN) was established in 2016 and aims at promoting psychoneuroimmunology (PNI) research in Europe. It now consists of about
90 researchers and clinicians who investigate neuroimmune interactions in relation to behavior and their clinical consequences, or who have research interests overlapping with PNI.
The idea behind initiating the EPN is to foster research collaborations between European laboratories, and benefit from the various expertise and approaches of the European PNI researchers and clinicians. The EPN’s specific aims are:

  • To increase visibility of European PNI labs and groups
  • To develop collaborative projects and stimulate exchange between European labs and groups
  • To establish connections with researchers and clinicians with potential interest in PNI
  • To reflect on core PNI questions, concepts and approaches
